Canadian Centres for Teaching Peace and the McMaster Centre for Peace Studies are hosting the Seventh Annual Conference on Peace Education in Canada from November 21st through 23rd, 2008 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
The conference theme is “What Can I Do for Peace? Engaged Citizenship for the Sustainable Future”, and it will include multidisciplinary workshops, presentations, and public speakers demonstrating best practices and encouraging critical engagement as global citizens, with a special emphasis on peace leadership and education.
