Full Trip - Daily Itinerary

1. Thursday, March 10th - 5.15 p.m. AP Belgrade - check in at the Hotel Balkan - dinner at the hotel or some nearby restaurant
   
2. Friday, March 11th - late breakfast - sightseeing (Terazije street, Nikola Pasic square, Federal Assembly, City House, TV Station bombed in the war, Republic Square (National Museum, National Theatre) - break for lunch or coffee  - Etnographic Museum - pedestrian zone - sightseeing of Skadarlija, one of the oldest and bohemian part of the city - dinner - free time
   
3. Saturday, March 12th - meeting with some local students (Aleksandra, Uros, Dusan...) - sightseeing of Kalemegdan, the park and the fortress - break for lunch or coffee- spending time with peers - dinner - free time
   
4. Sunday, March 13th - visiting some buildings that were bombed in the war - one of the biggest orthodox temples in the world - break for lunch or coffee - visit to local community of Kotez - spending time with local students and people (guides: Aleksandra, Uros and Dusan) - back to Belgrade - dinner - free time
   
5. Monday, March 14th - check out from hotel Balkan - panorama sightseeing of New Belgrade - Pancevo Elementary School (the whole day programme organized by students) - Bilja`s concert - lodging at host families
   
6. Tuesday, March 15th - visit to a new PSI member in Kovacica together with some teachers and students from Pancevo - flag presentation - back to Pancevo Elementary school - in the evening party at school - lodging at host families
   
7. Wednesday, March 16th - farewell to Pancevo - Belgrade panorama sightseeing on the way to Avala Mountain (the Monument and the TV Tower destroyed in bombing) - check in at the Hotel Balkan - break - the oldest part of the city Residence of Princess Ljubica, Orthodox Cathedral) - pedestrian zone
   
8. Thursday, March 17th - a visit to TV station - if the weather is nice possible bus tour (additional 125 Euros) to Ada Ciganlija (an artificial peninsula, the most favorite excursion point for Belgrade's) - break for lunch or coffee - back to the city - time for shopping - dinner
   
9. Friday, March 18th - check out from the hotel - two and a half hour drive to Zabare Elementary school - the whole day programme including Flag Presentation - one hour drive back to the place where the conference will be hold the next day - check in at Stari Hrast motel (An Old Oak) - dinner incl.
   
10. Saturday, March 19th - meeting with Serbian students - the conference starts at 11 o`clock - activities according to the programmed - lunch incl. - workshops - dinner incl. - dancing party
    
11. Sunday, March 20th - closing conference with plenary session - lunch incl. - sightseeing of surroundings well known for its history events - a theatrical performance for the group (recommended) - dinner at nearby ethno restaurant incl.
    
12. Monday, March 21st - early breakfast, check out, an hour and a half drive to Belgrade airport

Pancevo

Monday, March 14th

11:00 Welcome celebration at school

11:45 - 13:00 Reception at teachers` room

13:00 - 16:30 Students go to their host families to have lunch and spend some time with their peers

Canadian teachers have lunch and visit some I and II grade classes

16:30 - 17:30 Sport tournament - basket ball - mixed teams

18:00 - 21:00 School party

21:30 Transfers to Belgrade for adults

Tuesday, March 15th

9:00 - 11:00 A visit to National Museum (students from Canada and their hosts)

11:00 16:00 A visit to Kovacica (Canadian group, Doda and Ivana), lunch and
PSI flag presentation

18:00 - 19.15 /19:30 Teaching Peace..., Hetty addressing the audience and
announcing Bilja Krstic & Her Orchestra Concert

19:30 Cocktail party at Studio 21 for guests from Canada, teachers, principals
from Pancevo elementary schools, municipality representatives and some
people who helped the whole event

21:30 Transfers to Belgrade for adults

Wednesday, March 16th

11:00 Farewell to Pancevo
