In February, 16 students from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, a PSI member, travelled to Northern Ireland to engage students and teachers in addressing issues surrounding peace and the importance of conflict resolution.
This marks the fifth year that students from Saint Mary’s visited Catholic, Protestant and Integrated schools throughout Belfast to offer conflict resolution workshops. The trips are organized by Saint Mary’s University in collaboration with Peaceful Schools International, the Charitable Irish Society of Halifax, and Barnardo’s Children’s Charity.
