Meaghan Reardon - Fundraising Coordinator
Meaghan was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a third-year student studying a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics with a Human Resource Management Certificate. This is Meaghan’s second year being a part of Peaceful Schools International, she participated in the program in the past year in Halifax and Belfast, Northern Ireland, conducting conflict resolution and peace education workshops. She is now the Fundraising Coordinator, looking over funds and local initiatives for the PSI Program.
Apart from PSI, Meaghan works with the Saint Mary’s University Student Association at the Information Desk, where she assists students, faculty, and guests when they come into the O’Donnel Hennessy Student Centre.
Outside of university, Meaghan loves to help her community as a volunteer coach. She was a player on Nova Scotia Women's Team participating in National tournaments for 4 years. Meaghan has coached with Canadian Girls Baseball, a program focused on the development, skills, and team building in the sport. It was started to create an accepting and welcoming environment for girls playing baseball by having female coaches as role models to guide them.
