David Bourgeois - Board Member

Originally from New Brunswick, David Bourgeois (Ph.D., University of Maine) has taught at Saint Mary’s University since 2004. Dr. Bourgeois is a social psychologist with research interests in the area of political psychology, cross-cultural psychology, and youth engagement.

A PSI board member since 2010, he also serves as the Faculty of Science Advisor for the university’s Northern Ireland Conflict Resolution Program.
He is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and the International Society of Political Psychology.
Dr. Bourgeois is the 2018 recipient of the Father William A. Stewart Medal for Excellence in Teaching.
