Kayla Dunphy - Program Coordinator
Kayla is in her 4th year at Saint Mary's University where she is perusing a B.A in International Development Studies and Anthropology with a minor in Political Science. Kayla is currently the Project Coordinator for Peaceful Schools International where she oversees the Halifax and Northern Ireland Projects.
Kayla Dunphy grew up in Bedford, Nova Scotia where she was an avid member of her community. She was as a volunteer at Northwood long term care home, a camp leader at the Lebrun Community Centre, and a ski instructor at Martock Ski hill.
She participated in the Northern Ireland and Halifax project during the 2019/2020 year, where she trained and traveled to Northern Ireland/ North of Ireland in February of 2020 to conduct conflict resolution workshops. Kayla Dunphy is an executive member of the International Development Undergraduate Society at Saint Mary’s and on the management team of the East Coast International Development Summit. Kayla also works for the Victorian Order of Nurses where she works as an Administrative Assistant.
In her free time Kayla enjoys skiing, biking, hiking, and anything outdoors.
